“The world is a looking-glass, and gives back to every man the reflection of his own face. Frown at it, and it will in turn look sourly upon you; laugh at it and with it, and it is a jolly kind companion; and so let all young persons take their choice.”
– William Makepeace Thackeray
Evan was lurching from one painful reaction to another, needing the world around him to be finely tuned to buffer him from the world’s unpredictability, loudness, and vibrancy. Not all can take their choice as the poem suggests.
Evan has [diagnosed] autism since a poor reaction to a series of vaccines. It’s hard for him to connect, to live with his small sister without hurting her, without small frustrations leading to large emotional meltdowns.

He’s having natural autism treatment via homeopathy. I’ve just followed up with his mum. She tells me the following, remarkable stories:
We were in the playground. Evan asked me to stop his swing. He was watching a child who’s shoe had fallen off and who’s parents were ignoring his distress and he wanted to go return the shoe to the boy’s foot.
Evan asked to bring his bag of favourite toys to the group so he could share them. Other children were running around, throwing his toys and a girl came next to him and let out a loud scream. He was un-phased and refused his ear defenders! He had a great time! He’s making friends.
The anecdotes, examples, and absolute joy kept coming.
Homeopathy has enabled him to cope with the roller-coaster of environmental stimuli, children’s interactions, his sister.
It is a remarkable change for him, particularly in the past 2 months since his last remedy (in this case phos 30c). This is the culmination of natural autism treatment through simple, classical homeopathy, which we’ve been doing with Evan since January 2016.
His happy mum is working on some testimonial videos … which I will post when she’s ready. 🙂
