Is homeopathic metal detox for Autism safe and easy?
Metal toxicity can be a big thing in autism and we see great improvements when we do homeopathic metal detox for autism.
Because metal chelation methods can deplete the function of organs like the liver and adrenal glands & can deplete essential metals along with removing toxic metals, my preferred method is homeopathic detox therapy.
Advantages of Homeopathic Metal Detox
Homeopathy harnesses the body’s inbuilt detox processes and supports the organs at the same time. Giving the most needed homeopathic remedy alongside detox is a great support. We also give remedies that directly support the liver and adrenal glands.
Chelation advocates like Andy Cutler have their concerns about homeopathic metal detox causing aggravations and homeopaths have their concerns about chelation causing aggravations and depletion of organs, so it is hard to see from general hearsay what works and what is safe.
During chelation, you can see some aggravation as toxic metals are moved into the bloodstream from tissues. If there is liver weakness, constipation or weakness of the adrenal system these metals can clear too slowly. There are dietary and supplemental supports that need to be in place to protect the person during chelation.
Supports for Homeopathic Metal Detox
There are some supports and provisions you have to have in place to make homeopathic metal detox comfortable also.
We don’t start homeopathic metal detox [or chelation for that matter!] when there is liver weakness or adrenal fatigue. We work to rebuild the liver and adrenal system first.
Also, we tend to detox substances like steroids and vaccines long before we start homeopathic metal detox.
We must ensure there is no constipation and that the bowels are moving regularly so that toxic metals can be eliminated faster.
- Epsom’s salts baths and some vitamin supplements are a great support. I usually recommend baths 4 times a week and footbaths if there is no bath in the house.
- Vitamin C,
- selenium and
- magnesium are all good supplemental supports.
A lovely thing about homeopathic metal detox is that you can slow it down or speed it up as needed, depending on how well the child is eliminating toxic metals from his body.
We see wonderful outcomes from homeopathic metal detox.
Here is an example:
Meet Shash: Metal Detox Patient.
Shash has been coming to see me for about a year now. We’ve helped him detox steroids and vaccines and seen some great gains but some really great gains [as expected] have come from homeopathic metal detox. We’ve done a poly metals detox with him and we are repeating the higher potencies for a third time to attain even more gains. We’ll stop repeating it when he stops responding with positive gains after the detox.
His parents’ notes today read:
He talks so much and his conversation is an exchange, using more words, trying to be funny. Definitely increased awareness, like checking counter isn’t wet when putting something down.
He did have some accentuated symptoms [‘aggravation’] during the lower potency detox stages. These took the form of an accentuation of some of his symptoms [self-stimulating, obsessional behaviours, some aggression].
Here’s what you can expect to see some of during a homeopathic detox.
The higher potency detoxes are uneventful but after he finishes the remedies we see lovely gains in expressive language, executive skills, far less aggression and more cooperation, & excellent progress in school. He has developed a great sense of humour and is lucid in his thinking. He’s even developed some age-appropriate reluctance to do chores 😀
Shash still has some way to go. We’ll continue with metal detoxing until we are satisfied that his repetitive watching of the same part of a tv program stops and when his reading comprehension improves. Right now, he is still a bit literal and struggles to use his imagination. He also has some anxiety about going to school, being late for the bus, etc.
